"I decided to pursue a career as an esthetician in high school. Coming from a family of four with divorced parents, I learned early on the importance of independence. While balancing full-time college classes, I worked full-time at Publix to support myself, and simultaneously, I started building my brand, Kay Beauty Bar.

As I grew in the industry, I became passionate about giving back and now volunteer at high schools, teaching students my craft and educating them about the beauty industry. My next dream is to open an affordable beauty school to make this career path accessible to high school students, those from low-income backgrounds, and anyone eager to pursue a career in beauty.

My journey has been a combination of hard work, passion, and the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to follow their dreams—no matter their background."
